Sessions are taught from Bridgend Farmhouse, EH16 4TE

For Children

Children’s private lessons are 45 mins (Balance bike private sessions are 30 mins). Most children learn to ride independently in 2 - 3 lessons from complete beginner.

Bikes and helmets can be borrowed at no extra cost.

Leanne will involve the parent / carer on how you can continue to have fun with your child on the bike.

Leanne was brilliant with my son. She was kind and patient and he really listened to her. Fabulous teacher and after two lessons my son was cycling. He’s now the happiest kid in the world off on his bike!

For Adults

Adult lessons 90 mins. Most of our adult learners have never been on a bike before and have all learned to ride. Most in only one 90 mins lesson.

Bikes and helmets can be borrowed at no extra cost.

Each phase she reassured me, grew my confidence and explained clearly what I needed to know. She offered after support which is great. I am grateful and humbled how amazing she is as a person and a teacher.

Do you want to build up a little more confidence to go for a ride in and around Edinburgh? Our qualified instructors will take you on a bespoke ride, typically from home to your workplace / school run etc and help you to discover new routes / learn how to navigate from A to B.

We can cover:

  • how to ride safely on roads

  • how to use gears more efficiently

  • how to ride safely with your children

  • how to navigate junctions, traffic lights and roundabouts

  • how to link up the network of cycle paths using quiet residential roads

  • how to check you bike pre-ride

  • advice on what to bring with you on a ride

Before the ride, we’ll discuss what you’d like to get out of the experience and decide on a route.

Rides can start from your home and last approx 2 hours.

Super day out yesterday with Leanne and our kiddies. All the gear was provided and Leanne was so professional, taking extra care and support with my youngest who was a little less confident.
