There’s no ‘perfect’ time to learn - sometimes it takes longer than others, and that’s no bad thing

Every child or adult who learns to cycle from complete beginner is a star and it sometimes takes longer for some than it does for others.

It’s in no way a reflection of how hard these little champions try. Edith, age 6 has been one of those champs who has put her heart and soul into learning to ride a bike. She was nervous and scared of the bike but desperately wanted to ride.

An extremely supportive mum and Edith came each week for their lessons and we worked together, tweaking and modifying to suit Edith’s learning style.

NOW today I can’t get Edith off her bike! She is riding! And not only riding, but smiling, laughing, whooping with joy and quite rightly, proud of herself!

Edith is an inspiration to us all, who may be nervous or find certain things a little tricky!

Yes Edith - you have learned!! And we are all SO PROUD of you!

You did it!!
